School-Wide Expectations Matrix

All learners are expected to Be Ready, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible in all areas of the school. 

Below, you will see our school-wide expectations matrix. This matrix breaks down the different areas of our school and describes how learners can demonstrate the 3Rs in that area. To view each area of the school individually, choose from the drop-down menu below the chart. 

  • Classroom Expectations

    Be Respectful looks like:

    • Use appropriate voice level
    • Follow expectations and procedures
    • Wait your turn to talk
    • Accept others
    • Keep hands, feet, and objects to self

    Be Responsible looks like:

    • Take care of supplies and electronice device
    • Take care of your classroom

    Be Ready looks like:

    • Focus on the task in front of you
    • Have the materials you need
    • Have your electronic device charged
  • Cafeteria Expectations

    Be Respectful looks like:

    • Voice Level 1 or 2
    • Use manners and talk with your tablemates
    • Raise your hand if you need something

    Be Responsible looks like:

    • Proceed directly to line or table
    • Clean up your area
    • Stay seated

    Be Ready looks like:

    • Grab your lunch card, if necessary
    • Eat your lunch in a timely manner
    • Clean up quickly
  • Hallway Expectations

    Be Respectful looks like:

    • Voice level 0
    • Keep hands off the wall
    • Keep hands, feet, and body to self

    Be Responsible looks like:

    • Walk
    • Take care the shortest route
    • Walk on the right side

    Be Ready looks like:

    • Walk with purpose
    • Face forward
    • Eyes forward
  • Recess Expectations

    Be Respectful looks like:

    • Include others
    • Share equipment
    • Play fair and follow game rules
    • Use kind words towards other learners
    • Keep hands and feet to self

    Be Responsible looks like:

    • Follow playground rules for equipment
    • Bring recess gear back to storage bins and report broken items

    Be Ready looks like:

    • Line up right away
    • Walk quietly into the building
    • Wait your turn patiently
    • Dress for the weather
  • Bathroom Expectations

    Be Respectful looks like:

    • Voice level 0
    • Respect the privacy of others
    • Put all trash in trash can

    Be Responsible looks like:

    • Use bathroom supplies appropriately
    • Wash hands
    • Report bathroom problems to an adult immediately

    Be Ready looks like:

    • Use nearest bathroom
    • Get back to class right away (Get in, Get out)
  • Bus Expectations

    Be Respectful looks like:

    • Voice level 0-2
    • Listen to driver
    • Talk to only those around you
    • Use manners and talk kindly to others
    • Keep hands, feet, and objects to self and inside the bus

    Be Responsible looks like:

    • Remain seated and face forward
    • No food, drinks, or gum
    • Stay in your assigned seat

    Be Ready looks like:

    • Put belongings in backpack before exiting the bus
    • Exit the bus in a single file line
