Hello, I'm Lisa.  I'm serving a second year as President for the NHES PTO and my forth year on the PTO Executive Board.  I have two children in the ELANCO School District; one in third grade at NHES and one moving up to 6th grade at Garden Spot Middle School.  I work full-time as an administrative assistant in an Elementary School.  In addition to serving on the NHES PTO Board I volunteer with other local organizations.  I enjoy spending time with my family whether it's going to the kids sporting events, hiking, reading, or traveling.  I am so happy to be able to serve you this year and my hope is that we create some truly fantastic memories!

Hello! My name is Alicia Heyl and I’m excited to fill the role of Vice President. I have one son in the middle school, one son at NHES and a 4 year old that wishes he was big enough to come too. I work part time at a greenhouse, which is the perfect fit for me - plants are one of my favorite things! In addition to gardening, I enjoy baking, crocheting and spending time outdoors with my family. I can’t wait to watch all of you grow and have an amazing time this year!

Hi, my name is Megan and I will be serving as the PTO Treasurer. My husband Adam and I have 3 daughters, one in 5th grade and one in 1st grade at NHES. Our youngest will be in Prek this year. I am the owner of a floral business and when I am not in the garden or working with flowers I enjoy coaching my daughter's softball team, watching the Phillies, and spending time with my family. I am looking forward to serving this year amd getting to know more of our NHES community.

Hi! I'm Kati Martin. My husband, Nate, and I live in New Holland with our daughters, Nora (5th grade) and Hattie (Kindergarten).

This is my first year serving as PTO Secretary. I have a background in nonprofit fundraising and now work in event management. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, baking, and taking care of my small backyard garden.

I'm excited to be part of the PTO and look forward to supporting our school and connecting with fellow families!

As a proud parent of a 4th grader in our school community, I am passionate about creating fun, supportive, and engaging opportunities for our kids and teachers. A Pennsylvania native, home gardener, and cooking enthusiast, she loves bringing families together, and make sure every student feels supported.

  • The objective of the NHES PTO is to provide support and resources to the school and teachers for the benefit and educational growth of the children; to develop a cooperative working relationship between the parents and staff of our school; to develop parent leadership and build capacity for greater involvement; to foster and encourage parent participation at all levels.

PTO meetings are open to all parents/guardians along with teacher representatives and principals. They are held at the NHES cafeteria on the second Tuesday of every month starting at 7 pm during the school year.  The meetings are to discuss school events and how to help our learners have a wonderful learning experience at New Holland Elementary School.

The NHES PTO is a nonprofit organization committed to enhancing the community of New Holland Elementary students, staff, teachers, and families. The group is made of parents, guardians, and teachers volunteering their time to plan and organize fundraising, social, educational, and FUN events! Throughout the year the NHES PTO sponsors and coordinates events for the students and families such as Pops on the Playground, Book Fair Book Giveaway, Door Decorating Contest, Family Fun Nights, Mayfair, 5th Grade Promotion, Author Visits, Field Trips, and so much more! They are committed to supporting the New Holland Elementary Teachers and Staff's educational mission and well-being through appreciation meals and supportive collaboration on school organized events.
